Comparison of Excellent PRO Nail Art Gels - Gel High Pigment, Master Art and Perfect French

Excellent PRO nail art gels differ from each other in consistency and properties, so each line best supports specific decorating techniques. This does not mean that a given product can only be used for one purpose - quite the opposite. The differences between them are meant above all to make the work easier and help you achieve the intended effect faster and with greater precision. In the rest of this article you will learn the characteristics of each product group, which will make it easier to choose the right gel for your needs and your working technique.

Gel High Pigment (Painting Gel) - a universal gel for most nail art

Gel High Pigment is a medium-thick gel without an inhibition layer, created with versatile nail art in mind. Thanks to its formula it can be used both under the top coat and on a finished top coat, because after curing it leaves no tacky layer.

It works perfectly for:

• a classic french,
• thin lines,
• ornaments,
• flowers and leaves,
• larger decorative elements,
• nail art done on a finished design.

The lack of an inhibition layer also means it is great for rubbing in powders. The most striking results are achieved on a white or black color, depending on the effect you want to obtain.

Gel High Pigment contains slightly less pigment than paste-type products. Thanks to this it cures properly even in a slightly thicker layer. That is exactly why it works best for larger designs, flower petals or elements covering a bigger part of the nail. For ultra-thin, microscopic details Master Art will be a better choice.

Master Art (pastes) - maximum pigmentation and the highest precision

Master Art is a range of very thick, highly pigmented pastes intended for the most demanding nail art. The products were created above all with techniques such as these in mind:

• One Stroke,
• Zhostovo,
• wet on wet,
• thin ornaments,
• very precise lines.

The very high pigmentation and thick consistency mean the product does not spread during work and lets you create extremely accurate designs.

Master Art also works great for ombre. You can use it to create both classic color transitions and painted baby boomers by gently dabbing the product with a sponge.

The lack of an inhibition layer also makes it possible to create designs using powders and structural effects.

Because of its very high pigmentation, Master Art is not suitable for painting whole nails or a classic french. The product should be applied in very thin layers only. The manufacturer also recommends protecting the design with a top coat, because a thin layer of the product is more exposed to mechanical damage. An exception can be nail art done on a matte top coat, where leaving the glossy Master Art without a top coat gives an interesting contrast of finishes.

Perfect French - a product created for a perfect french

Perfect French is a specialist gel developed for creating the french tip.

It has a runny consistency that allows extremely precise brush control and a perfectly sharp smile line even with a very thin layer of product.

Unlike the other products it has an inhibition layer, which improves the adhesion of the top coat and minimizes the risk of chipping at the tip of the nail.

Perfect French is very highly pigmented, so it should only be applied in a thin layer. Too thick an application or an attempt to paint the whole nail may prevent the product from curing properly.

To achieve full curing, follow the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding curing time and use lamps with the right parameters. The products were developed for correct curing in Excellent PRO lamps.
